In this Versus Series, i'll take stab at two couples whom are popular within the manga/anime community (and equally hated for stupid reasons). Here we go. BTW the way i'll judging each tag team in their respective Part 2 selfs before the end of their respective series.
Physical Abilities
Team Destiny: By the end of Part 2 of Naruto Shippuden Naruto is 17 years old. For a young man he is great physical condition. Due too his ancestry and lineage he has extreme amounts of stamina, longevity and energy reserves. In other words he is a god damn tank. He trains for hours on end just about non-stop. Even when extremely fatigued he can still sent people flying.
By the end of Part 2 Hinata Hyuga is 16 years old. Just like Naruto she is in great physical condition. She isn't as strong physically as Naruto but that doesn't mean she isn't capable. She has great stamina and endurance. She too can go the distance in a fight.
Both fought for 2 days during the 4th Great Shinobi World War with little rest on their part. Only toward the end did they start running out of gas. So they have stamina and endurance too burn. Both are also are tough, being able too continue on after taking severe injuries.
Team Sword and Shield: By the end of Bleach Ichigo Kurosaki is 17 years old. Much like Naruto is in great physical condition. Even without using his other abilities he is strong and capable. With fast speed and reflexes too match his strength.
By the end of Bleach Orihime Inoue is 17 years old. She is in good physical condition. She has a natural talent for martial arts even though she is a pacifist by nature. She is considered 'strong' by human standards.
Both Ichigo and Orihime are tough physically speaking. Ichigo more so then Orihime but she isn't made of glass. Each has been through many major battles in quick order and can still stay standing.
Verdict: Team Destiny and Team Sword&Shield are physically almost evenly matched. Each has put their heart and soul on display during their fights of life and death. Each has trained relentlessly too get as strong as they can. But as team Team Destiny has an edge (however small). Team Destiny gets the edge in terms of physical ablities
Powers and Other Abilities:
Naruto is a jinchuriki. He holds a beast inside of him of great power. This allows him too have access too things normal people can't access. Once he mastered his tailed beast he was able too form the Nine-Tailed Beast Mode. This greatly increases his physical abilities. He also has access too Nature transformations. Elemental abilities that deal with nature like Fire, Water or Wind (Naruto has access too all of them and then some). Naruto is also able too summon clones of himself, here he can use his vast reserves of energy and attacks. He can summon a few too hundreds of them if he wanted too. Naruto also can use Sage Mode, using elemental energy too increase his physical abilities. The more energy he has the stronger he gets. He can also use Six Paths Sage Mode which is just power on power at this point. Naruto is a god in terms of power and abilities.
Hinata is from the powerful clan known as the Hyuga clan. This clan has what is called the Byakugan. This ability can see inside the human body, allowing her too hit internal organs or hit charka points. Disabling the enemy. Hinata also knows Fire and Lighting Nature Transformations, though she doesn't use them often. Hinata has three powerful attacks in her arsenal. Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists, 8 Trigrams 64 Palm and 8 Trigrams Vacuum Wall Palm. Each are high level techniques and very dangerous too an enemy. Along with her combat fighting style Gentle Fist, she is very dangerous.
Ichigo is a soul reaper. But only in name, he is substitute soul reaper but he can operate in both the living and dead worlds. His powers are immense. He also has vast reserves of spiritual energy, even at half strength he can still defeat powerful enemies. Ichigos attacks come from his sword. His sword has a spirit in called a Zangetu (Combination of his powers both good and evil). Has 2 attacks, one is called Getsuga Tenshō (or Piercer of Heaven). In a basic sense it is a slash attack with range. Getsuga Jūjishō is the second one. A more powerful version of the first. He also has a Bankai with changes the look of his sword and increases his power. His Piercer of Heaven is also enhanced. Ichigo also has a Fullbringer powers. This further increases his speed, strength and toughness. Ichigo also has a Hollow. After many revisions of his mask (only way too use his powers originally was too wear the mask) his true hollow form takes the form of horn. His physical appearance changes too. His speed, strength and endurance are further increased. Ichigo also as Quincey powers that help with healing form severe wounds in battle.
Orihimes abilities are vastly different from Ichigos. Her powers take the form of 6 fairies called the Shun Shun Rikka. Their names are Ayame, Baigon, Hinagiku, Lily, Shun'ō and Tsubaki. Each are used separately in order too be used for certain things like defense, healing or attack. Her techquines takes the form of the shield for defense (using Hinagiku, Lily, and Baigon ). The shield takes the shape of a triangle. She can also use it as an air bag for catching things or people. Orihime can also heal things by using Ayame and Shun'ō. I will talk more about this later in the X-factor. Her attacks uses Tsubaki. He can cut through anything, however Orihime isn't one for violence so he is limited in what he can do. He can also be injuried because Orihimes dislike for violence. Her final ability is a daft balance of her offensive and defensive abilities. If a person hits the shield it takes the blow and redirects the blow right back at them. Quite effective. She can also heal one thing and shield another at the same time. However if she isn't determined her abilities suffer, if she is strong and fearless her abilities grow stronger.
Verdict: Team Destiny and Team Sword and Shield are loaded with abilities and powers that make your head spin. Team Sword and Shield get the edge here. Orihime can defend Ichigo from anything and heal him. She can also re-energize him too full strength. Her other abilities that i'm saving the X-factor are a game changers. Ichigo also has many tricks too pull from. There is reason why some in the Bleach fandom call him "everything including the kitchen sink." Team Sword and Shield get the edge in terms of powers and abilities.
X-factors: Will discuss what can help or hurt each team here.
Communication: Both teams have the ability too communicate with their partner without saying a word. A look, tug on a piece of clothing, something simple as that. Their point or plan will be understood by their partner. This shows not only how mutually they understand each other but also the depth of the bond that they share.
Regenerating energy: Narutos tailed beast Kurama has the ability too create more chakra for Naruto too use. However it does take time. In battle time would have too be bought for that too happen.
Rejection of events "fate": Orihime has the ability too limit, stop or reject an event entirely. She can bring back people from the dead. If someone loses an arm or leg, she can 'reject' that event and restore the arm or leg as if nothing happened. This power goes into 'gods' territory as stated by Bleach bad guy Aizen (whom toke a great interest in her abilities). Regardless of her target, she can stop, heal, resurrect anything. However she can heal quickly it does take time for her too restore energy of her target. (This ability has never been fully explored. However some fans in the Bleach fandom state she is the most powerful person in Bleach because this ability. Few even state she is "a god in material form.") Combat application maybe limited but say Ichigo "dies" she can bring him back.
Dislike of Violence: Hinata and Orihime both dislike violence. Though Hinata will defend herself as will Orihime from an attacker. They just don't really like killing people. While both girls have done well in combat without hurting people it can hold you back.
Healing ability: Naruto can (like Ichigo) heal form injuries. Minor injuries take no time at all but major ones take a few days.
Intelligence: Naruto isn't book smart but street smart. Being a prankster he see things different and form complex plans and pull them off. Hinata too is highly intelligent. Ichigo was among the top 25 in his class grades wise and is a quick study of combat himself. Orihime despite her klutziness and somewhat short attention span (and wild imagination) she is very smart. She is the top 5 in her class grades wise. All 4 are very smart people. Far smarter then they get credit for.
Byakugan: Hinatas eyes are a great thing too have. She can detect high speed movement with them and target chakra points in mid-combat. Can even see through solid objects.
Transfer of energy: Naruto can transfer his chakra too other through physical contact. Can do that for Hinata. Increasing her strength as a result.
Final verdict: Both teams are fully capable of beating just about anyone put in front of them. Lets say the battle takes place on the battle field of the 4th Shinboi world war. Each walk along holding hands. As they see each other they stop and take a moment too look each other over. Ichigo will motion too Orihime too get behind him and handle defense. Naruto and Hinata will ready themselves. The battle will start out 2 on 1. Team Destiny will figure Orihime is helping shield Ichigo from their attacks and healing him. Hinata will intercept Orihime and the two go off on their own. The boys will test each other and so start a game of one up mens ship. The girls will fight, as they do Hinata will figure out that Orihimes shield is unbreakable and that Orihime isn't attacking her. Hinata will push Orihime but she will push back by using her offense/defense shield against Hinata. Knocking her back many times. By this time the boys will be into it and going hard. Bruised and bloodied but still standing. Starting too tap into their powers and abilities. The girls will be at a slower pace but no less intense. Orihime will tell Hinata too stop hurting herself. Hinata isn't swayed and continues. The boys now are starting too take it too another level. Naruto uses shadow clones too overwhelm Ichigo. Ichigo starts tapping into his Fullbringer and Hollow powers. Orihime will sense Ichigo is in trouble and rush too help him but Hinata will disable her and rush too help Naruto, little does she know that Orihime is healing herself. The boys are now almost at full power. Explosions and destruction follow them where ever they go. Hinata attempt too blind side Ichigo but he bats her away easily. Naruto blasts Ichigo away with a full power attack with all the things he can throw too together. Ichigo is caught by Orihimes shield and she starts healing him. The boys know that it will end the other isn't standing anymore. Naruto will transfer some of his chakra too Hinata and attack at once. Orihime will protect them but it is a faint they go around her shield and attack them both. Orihime is sent flying and Ichigo clashes with both Naruto and Hinata. Here Ichigo will use his full Hollow powers and start throwing his weight around. Naruto and Hinata are amazed that Ichigo is so powerful. They again attempt a faint attack Naruto at the front and Hinata from the rear. Naruto and Ichigo clash, Hinata is about too blindside Ichigo when Orhimes shield protects him. Orihime staggers her way into the fray and pushes Hinata away. The boys are now at 100% of what they can do but are starting too tire out. Ichigo starts out pacing Naruto, Hinata helps Naruto out by telling him where Ichigo is but Orihime interferes with Narutos counter attacks. Hinata will try too stop Orihime by she will use her offense/defense shield once again and knock Hinata back. Naruto is low on chakra at this point and is losing steam. Hinata will attempt too fight Ichigo herself with all her might but Orihime will use her attacks against her and Hinata will fall with fatigue. Naruto will push forward but Ichigo will overpower him and defeat him. I declare Team Sword and Shield the victor.
Ichigo and Orihime win this fight simply because of what they can do. Yes Naruto and Ichigo can do similar thing but Ichigo has more tools at his disposal. Tools that increase his speed, strength, durability and endurance. Orihime also heal him and keep fresh from fatigue on a limited bases. Orihime will play her part by NOT attacking but instead on defending and using her abilities too benefit Ichigo and herself. She may get knocked down but she'll get back up. Naruto and Hinata may have the physical edge but if Hinata could do what Orihime could do then it'd be a draw.
