My idea for a NASCAR game

Lets face it, modern NASCAR games suck. The last decent ones where NASCAR 08 and NASCAR 09. After that quality and content were reduced too trash levels. However there is a way too save NASCAR games from going down the toilet. A youtuber by the name RealRadman made a video Video here about how too make them better. Credit goes too him 100%. However my ideal NASCAR game would be different when what he is/wants in the next game/s.

Career Mode: Most likely THE biggest part of any NASCAR game, too run your own team. However i will add a few modes.

Owner/Driver mode: You run your own team. From choosing the make of car you drive, too the number used, too hiring of pit crew members, too people behind the scenes like engine builders, fabricators, chassis builders too your crew chief. You build your own cars (as many as you want). Put sponsers (wide range of them) of different prestige levels (like NASCAR Thunder 2003) on your car. At first you will suck badly but if you maintain a budget (expenses, R&D expenses), keep sponsers and crew members happy, make the right choices of who you hiring on your team in the off-season and sign sponsers that you met their expectations... you can be champion.

Driver mode: You must drive for someone else. From the garbage teams too Hendrick Motorsports too Joe Gibbs Racing. Each teams will have expectations, if you do well you will keep your job. If you don't well you are fired.

What would be the same: I did mention only Cup teams but you can start in whatever series you want, Cup, Xfinity, Trucks, K&N (East or West) and Modifieds. If you start in lower series you can move yourself your team up the ranks if you want. In either mode you can drive in anyone of those series i mentioned. And you can choose what point system you want too run under: The Latford system (lol), Chase 1, Chase 2, Chase 3 or the current Chase.

Era Mode: In this mode drive in any of NASCAR past Eras. 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's. You be a driver from that era and play as them. The objective would be too match their starting position and finishing position too the letter, even their finishing spot in points. If you do better, you'll get a bonus in someway. If you do worse then well you'll fail in someway.

Era Mode Career: Yep in this mode you can have a career in NASCARs past eras. You will have 20 years too make your mark on NASCAR history. In this mode you can re-write NASCAR history in your favor and perhaps not the favor of guys like Petty, Pearson, Earnhardt or Gordon. You can still build up your team like in the "Owner/Driver mode." And see NASCAR technology advance through the 20 year career.

Other game modes:
Quick race: Choose a driver, track and other settings and race.

Season mode: Take a driver and race through a full season.

Challenge mode: Much like NASCAR Thunder 03, 04, NASCAR 05 and 06. Have a driver explain a scenario and have them challenge you too scenario as it actually happened. But it shouldn't be limited too the last couple of years, go back too the 70's, 80's and 90's.

Immersion: Like RealRadman said, this would need too have Immersion. Like pre and post race interviews, radio calls from MRN (like NT 03 and 04), have post race altercations with other drivers, have your agent call you with sponser offers, sign autographs even visit your shop (in Owner/Driver mode) and see how your cars, R&D, shop expansions and crew members are doing. I'd go as far to say if you visit your shop, it will make your crew members happy, making them more likely too work harder and may stay with you in the off season. And for the love of god BRING BACK DRIVER STATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd always loved looking up driver stats in NASCAR Thunder 2003 and 2004, seeing how they have done over the years during my career mode adventure. I also like looking up my own stats as well. BRING BACK DRIVER STATS!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a trophy case that you can fill up with trophies you have won. Have a victory lane celebration. There can never be enough immersion in a NASCAR game. Why does everyone think why the old games were so good? Too add the immersion you should be able too keep team members long enough for them too RETIRE from your team. I had a crew chief in my NT2003 career that i had for 8 seasons. He kept getting better abilities wise (he eventually leveled off) until in a off-season screen when i was resigning people i found out he was retiring. I was like "oh okay.... didn't know that. Have too sign someone new." I felt sad for him leaving because i had him for so long but i was glad too have him for so long (considering i let a lot of guys go in past off-seasons.)

RealRadman has discussed physics before in some of his videos. In short, they need too be improved but i'll talk about difficulty. NASCAR Thunder 2003 was perfect in terms of difficulty. Hard but not too easy (like NASCAR Thunder 2004). Even when you are complete crap in terms of car (overall 52) you can still get a top 10 in your rookie year (in my rookie year i got 2) and get a decent points finish (i got 20th). But you felt rewarded for finishing so well with crap equipment.

I would also like too point out availability of crew members and sponsers. In NT2004 once you get too certain point your crew member become good too great and you can't sign guys whom you can keep happy. Sponsers are the same way. Once you advance far enough into the career mode your sponsers will expect you too win or finish top 5 every race (which isn't always possible) and your crew members will expect the same. What i am suggesting is you have a WIDE range of sponsers (prestige levels ranging from 50 and 100) and crew members (skill levels range from 50 too 100 as well) whom you can keep happy and keep on your team. There has too be a balance between sponser prestige and results and crew member abilities/happiness and results. NT2003 had that balance, NT2004 didn't have that balance.

That is about all i have (in my opinion) about this. NASCAR games have too get better. This is my opinion.
