Motorsport Manager lets you take control of a fictional open wheel team and guide them through a race/s too (possible) victory. Very in-depth and realistic game. Lets get started.
Gameplay: Motorsport Manager lets you control of 2 drivers. You can tell them too do various things like change their driving style (Back Up, Conserve, Neutral, Push and Attack) which effect tire temps and tire wear (More aggressive they drive, quicker tires heat and wear). They can also change the engine mode (Low, Neutral, High and Overtake). The more aggressive the engine mode the quicker the fuel is burned. Also the more aggressive the driver/s drive or more aggressive the fuel is burned, parts will wear out quicker. So need too keep in mind when too push and when not too. You can also tell them when too pit for a change of tires, fuel and part fixes. The game also offers the ability too stop time and speed up time from normal too twice and three times normal speed. Even has a 2d or 3d view of the track.
Game modes: You have few game modes too choice from. Single race lets you pick any team from any of the 3 series, pick a track and race. Simple as it gets.
Career mode is the main stay of Motorsport Manager. Here like Single race you pick any team from series and be the manager of them. However you must do certain things. The first thing is met your Team Owners expectations for the season (Where you will finish in the Team standings for the year). Met your owners expectations you'll keep your job, miss it and you'll get an "ultimatum" from your boss (if he/she gets unhappy enough). Get it and you'll keep your job, miss it and like President Trump would say "Your Fired."
You must also keep the books balanced. Signing good sponsers (more on this in a bit) will help pay for Drivers, Lead Designers, Race Mechanics, Car parts and other expenses. Sponsers come in 2 flavors. One is Fixed pay, two is expectation. Fixed pay is what you'll either as a signing on bonus or a fixed rate. Expectation is rather simple, just meet what the sponser wants you finish in qualifying or a race (Like finish 8th or above). Only one driver has too meet the expectation sponser for you too get payied. It would in finaical interest too get sponsers that have both a signing bonus and fixed pay that are metable for expectations. In terms of fixed both, bouns pay and fixed rate is needed. Another things helps too attract sponsers is marketability. Your team itself is marketable too a point but you need drivers that are too marketable. The higher your marketability is, better sponsers you attract.
Also note that the better drivers, better designers, race mechanics, HQ buildings aka the more you spend. The more your expenses good up the more money you need too make.
Another goal is earn the Drivers Championship and Owners Championship for the season. The real goal however is too win the Owners Championship too advance too the next Series. The Series are European Racing Series (GP3), Asia-Pacific Cup (GP2), World Motorsport Championship (F1). If you start in European Racing Series, you advance too Asia-Pacific Cup then the World Motorsport Championship. So there is a progression part too Career Mode. Winning the Drivers Championship is more of a bonus things too win. But it is a hard thing too win. You got too earn it.
The Team that you can manage in Motorsport Manager are from GP3 too F1 (in that order). Each team also has a starting budget for career mode but i'll leave that out. ;-)

Other things Motorsport Manager has too offer is depth. In career mode you can take part in a political process too determine rules for next year and such. You can either vote for, vote against or not vote. If you don't vote you get a +1 voting power the next time you do vote. Somethings will benefit you, somethings will not. Sometimes you have too wait and see. Information is also a thing Motorsport Manager does well. During practice and qualifying you can view other teams lap times as well as your own. You can view track grip levels and even the weather forecast ahead of time too plan strategy. Drivers even give feedback about their setups. Some may want too write stuff down if you can't process stuff fast enough.
Graphics: I have a 13 year old monitor so I do not get the best quality. And I have a high end PC. But from what I can see on YouTube the game looks great. Even went it monsoons out and the track lights up so drivers can race is great.
The game also gives a sense of atmosphere. Like you are at the track on the war wagon, except having a airborne view of everything. Even when the race is about too start and you looking for 5 red lights everything goes quiet before all lights go green and everything roars too life.
Motorsport Manager gives you the change too run a race team and taking them too glory or just running them into the ground. There is a lot too do in this game it will keep you busy. And it is strangely addicting.
I give Motorsport Manager A+.
If you like racing games give Motorsport Manager a try.
