ETF/FC5 crossover fanfiction: A Reserve-ation for 3: Military Base

Plot: Rachel, Grace, and Claire go to the Military Base for Prapor that will pay Rachel a lot of money, however, the trio is going to run into a group of people that will give them a real scare.

(Note southern part of the map is considered north in-game)

Rach: Got something from Prapor... listen up.
Dep: All ears Rachel.
Rach: He wants us to get a tank battery.
Grace: Those weigh nearly 90lbs.
Dep: That would take 2 people to carry back.
Rach: Fence is bailing us out with that one. Prapor needs 10 30mm shells as well.
Grace: Where are we going to get those?
Rach: There is a military base, we can find them there.
Dep: Have you been there before?
Rach: Sad to say I haven't.
Grace: We are going to need a plan.
Rach: Therapist has come through for us. Bought a map from her.

Like all maps, it is in Russian, however, at least they get a lay of the land of the military base. Grace notes possible sniping locations...

Grace: Those hills near the radar dome, snipers paradise. Those rooftops as well. Plenty of sightlines.
Dep: Licking your chops Grace.
Rach: We all have long-range rifles. You got to update my M1A Dep.
Dep: Only needs a few.

Claire takes off the Elcan from her M4 and puts on Rachel's M1A since it already has a mount on it, and uses Rachel's Archangel 22in barrel since both barrels are the same. She gets the same mount and suppressor at Rachel has. Rachel also gets a few X-14 M14 50 round mags for Claire. Their gear is mostly the same.

Rachel has her Archangel (1+5 30 round mags), her Sagia (1+1 20 drum mags and 2 10 round mags), and P226R (1+3 mags). She is using her Ars Arma CPC MOD.2 plate carrier instead of her Tactec. Grace's gear is the same as last time out. Claire has Rachel's M1A (1+3 50 round mags), her M4 (1+4 30 round mags) but everything else is the same from last time. Each is carrying duffle bags

The trio enters from the east, through a hole in the wall...

Dep: So what is the plan?
Rach: I haven't been here so I am open too suggestions.
Grace: How about I go up to the radar dome and provide overwatch?
Rach: Not that I am disagreeing with you but who is going to watch your back?
Grace: Depending on entrances up there... I think it will be fine.
Dep: I say we go for it.
Rach: Alright... but if you hear anyone nearby you hide.
Grace: I promise.

Claire and Rachel escort Grace up to the radar dome, clear it out and Grace set up inside the dome itself. She sets up a sort of alarm that will alert her to anyone opening up the door to get inside

Grace: All set up, good luck down there.
Rach: Come on Dep.

Claire and Rachel head back the way they came and go to a few bunkers they saw when they entered the base.

Grace: Got eyes on you guys. Nobody near you.
Dep: What about on the other side of the base?
Grace: One moment.

Grace pans left and sees some Scavs roaming around but all they are doing is just looking around for loot.

Grace: Got some crazies near a train depot but I can't see anyone else. You guys are good.

Rachel and Claire search the underground bunkers. Plenty of military equipment is laying around, as are some tanks.

Rach: Got 2 shells, what about you Dep?
Dep: Nothing but military equipment.
Grace: Just letting you guys know that some of the buildings here have symbols on them related to Chess pieces.
Rach: Well that is interesting. Should help us navigate.

Claire finds 2 more 30mm shells near a tank as they clear the northeast part of the base. They head west however they stop when they hear very loud gunshots and take cover near some sandbags.

Dep: What the fuck is that?
Rach: That isn't at us but fuck that is loud.
Grace: Somebody is using a 50. cal on those crazies.
Rach: Can you get'em?
Grace: Yeah but I'd rather not. We still have the element of surprise here and you guys are almost halfway done.
Rach: Might as well check the buildings Dep.
Grace: I will not have visual on you guys once you are inside.
Rach: Heading to the black Bishop building.

The pair enter through a destroyed entrance with another 50. cal above it. They search every room they can quickly and quietly as they can. Claire gathers some medical supplies and Rachel finds a room with some computers and stuff.

Rach: Not our objective but money, money.
Grace: Heads up, got some crazies near a copter in the courtyard, they weren't there before. Decently armed.
Rach: Take the shot if you want too.
Dep: Got eyes on the courtyard, can confirm the Scavs. We can tag-team it, Grace.
Grace: Got to be quick and quiet Dep but I am with you.

Claire shoulders Rachel's M1A. Claire can see all the courtyard but Grace has the high ground. The duo quickly and most importantly quietly kill the Scavs.

Dep: We are good Rachel.
Grace: I see some tents near the White Queen building. Your stuff might be in there too.
Rach: Roger, let's go.

Claire and Rachel cross the courtyard and through the White Queen building and out back to the tents they don't find 30mm shells but they find F1 grenades.

Rach: 2 for you 2 for me Dep. Hows you're pitching your arm?
Dep: Fine smartass. Let's get going.

Grace points Rachel and Claire to a tank on top of a large bunker. As the pair work through the train depot...

Grace: Guys I got a train coming.
Rach: You're serious?
Grace: From the west-northwest. Making a good time.
Dep: Suggest we hurry Rachel.

The girls make it to the top of the bunker they find the rest of the 30mm shell needed, as Claire finishes up the train pulls into the station.

Dep: Got what we need Rachel.
Rach: Right-
Grace: Guys get the fuck out of there!!!
Dep: Grace-
Grace: 7 heavily armed fucks just got off the train!!!

Rachel pokes her head above some pallets and sees them.

Rach: Oh my god...
Grace: They are fanning out!!!
Dep: Grace!!!
Grace: 2 are heading your way!!!

Rachel and Claire quietly slide off the side of the bunker make their way to some trucks for cover.

Dep: Now what...
Rach: Might as well leave.
Grace: You guys clear?

Dep: For now. 

Grace: I can see you. Work your toward-

 

Suddenly Grace hears "SHIT!!!" over her radio she hears a lot of gun fire.

 

Grace: Rachel!? Dep!? Fuck...I'm coming to you guys!!!

 

Rachel and Claire are running for their lives, being chased the 7 dudes. Through a train depot and into a building with a black knight symbol on it. They trapped in a hallway on opposite sides. They both use grenades to keep the party at bay.

Rach: How you doing on ammo!?

Dep: Mag and a half left!

Rach: Us my M1A Dep! Fuck'em!

Rachel has to burned through a lot of ammo, down to 2 mags for her Archangel and down to both her 10 round mags for her Sagia. Claire begins unloading down the hallway with her M1A.

Rach: Grace where are you!?

Claire manages to drop one of them but they are still out numbered and out gunned. Luck bites them in the ass as both have to reload their weapons. 2 of the goons advance down the hallway toward them, they draw their pistols, ready for them to enter their respective room. But both suddenly drop from a hail storm of bullets. "Come on!" Grace is at the end of the hallway. Claire and Rachel exit their rooms and run out of the building with Grace in tow covering them. They enter a garage and hold station.

Dep: Well now what?

Rach: We need to get out of here.

Dep: Those fuckers can going to keep tailing us until we are dead.

*They hear a horn sound*

Rach: The train!

Dep: Gets my vote!

Grace: Lets go!

The girls head toward the train, doing their best to keep the remaining goons at bay. Just as they reach the station the train begins to depart. They make it on and exit the station and the base. They have what they need but the train is going off into the unknown...
