4X4 Evo 3 (fake video game)

Being 4+ years since I last posted on this blog. Don't expect to last, as I have on to other areas for my writing. But this blog will host to video game ideas whenever they enter my brain. So lets get started, the 4x4 Evo series are the product of Terminal Reality. They made 2 games, 4x4 Evo and 4x4 Evo 2. Based on reviews, the 1st game is better then the 2nd, though the 2nd game is just mindless fun, video games are supposed to be mindless fun you know.

The 2nd game was released in 2001 and the series has been dead since then. Since I have gotten an old XBOX fix and replaying the 2nd game again, gave me an idea for a 3rd entire into the series and it is going to be a sim-cade.. THIS IS COMPLETELY FAKE, JUST AN IDEA FROM MY BRAIN TO PUT DOWN ON CYBER INK!!!!!

Main Menu:

Quick Race: Pick track, vehicle and race. Simple.

Time Attack: Pick a track and try to set the fast time possible.

Free Roam: Roam any track in the game and find secrets (and money)

Career: The soul of the game. Start out with nothing build yourself up to the big time.

Replay: View any saved replay you have saved.

Rankings: View fastest laps and best finish positions on each track.

Profile: 4x4 Evo 3 lets you have up to 3 profiles to play with.

Options: Set various setting however you wish.

Career mode is the main stay of the game. You are 21 years old and have 40,000$ in your pocket. You and group of friends must buy a an old suv or truck and compete in local events. Your dream is to make to the big time off road racing. However you will need money, talent and luck to make it. Good luck.

Career Main Menu:

Shopping: Buy parts and other vehicles.

Racing: Enter single events, series and championships here.

Career stats: View the events you competed in, won, career win %, money earned, money spent and other things.

Sell Vehicle: If you need to make room or need a influx of cash you sell a vehicle here. A Vehicle can be sold via internet or by putting a sign on it and putting it in front of your shop.

Wash Vehicle: Keep your shop clean by washing down your dirty off road machines. This will also help keep moral up. Nobody wants work on dirty things.

Career Premise: In order to start your career you must buy an old truck or suv from the 1980's 90's and 2000's. You must use that 40,000$ to get into racing shape. Your career goal is too win the big events in off road racing like, Baja 500 and 1000, San Filipe 250, Primm 300, NORRA 500, Mexican 1000 and the biggest one, The Dakar Rally. Note, you do not have to win each race outright, you can simply win your class to check it off the list. You can win each event as many times as you want.

Now how does one get to those events? Well for one thing, you will need money. You will have to travel, get supplies and have a team for said events, it will be expensive. Then you need reputation too. Reputation with sponsers and teams.

Teams: Each OEM has a team. You can join a team through racing their make of vehicle and finishing well enough too get noticed. However you have to earn your spot on the team. Driving for a team means you have access to their facilities and their team members, parts and budget.

OEM: Instead of driving for a team, you drive for an OEM. Signing with an OEM means you have to run their make of vehicle, parts and sponsers. But you get access to their vast resources.

Your team: You are just a rag tag group of friends trying to make it into the off-road world. You can get better by investing in your team. Purchasing equipment too making repairs cheaper and quicker, not going into debt (more on this later), paying your team a fair salary/bonuses and just running well and/or winning races will keep moral up. You are the boss, be good one.

Vehicles: In order to race you have too have a something to race, here are the OEMs that can be raced in 4X4 Evo 3

Chevrolet, Dodge (Ram), GMC, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, KTM, Hummer, VW and a few other who make very specialized off road vehicles

Classes: Certain classes can race in certain races. The classes are divided as follows

Class 0: Other than safety improvements, bare bone stock.

Class 1: Along with safety improvements, slight modifications are made.

Class 2: Modest modifications have been made, along with safety improvements.

Class 3: Highly modified with the best parts.

Class 4: Pure off road racing machine, specially built. The most expensive too buy and operate.

Upgrades: You are buying Class 0 vehicle, you have to upgrade it, here is the upgrade list.

Appearance: This area doesn't improve performance, just the looks. Though it will increase the asking price when you sell. Safety equipment is purchased here.

Brakes: You have to go fast to win, however also have to stop. Parts will help with braking efficiency.

Chassis: Handling matters in racing, this area will help you shed weight, stiffen the chassis and update older stuff to newer stuff.

Drivetrain: You can have all the power you want but you have to be able to put it down. This area will help you do that.

Electronics: In order to get the most of your engine, you have to have the proper EFI and computer settings.

Engine: Here you can increase the power of your engine, add a turbo or supercharger (or both?) You can also make certain parts lighter for weight savings.

Lights: off road racing takes place in less then ideal conditions sometimes, this area will help you see better.

Suspension: Here you can make your vehicle higher off the ground to increase ground clearance, helping with rocks and other things. You can also increase suspension travel. Be warned, the higher you are off the ground, the higher chance of tipping over.

Tires: Where the rubber meets the road (or lack there of). When you buy tires, you buy shallow cut, medium cut, deep cut and studded tires at once, think of it as a bulk discount but you can buy each type separately if you want.

Part types: Some parts are categorized as follows.

Standard: Parts that have moderate performance and durability.

Used: Parts here are cheap and worn out. You will have repair them to use them, however, here may find something good for on the cheap.

Race: High performance parts with high durability, however they are very expensive to fix.

Endurance: Parts here are for endurance events only. They can be repaired but not overhauled.

Team Members: Since you can run your own team and can hire and fire people.

Crew Chief: The head of your team out in the world. You drive, he runs the team. (Max 1 person)

Brakes and Wheels: Keeps your brakes stopping you and replaces tires that need replacing. (Max 2 people)

Chassis: Keep handling were it should be. (Max 3 people)

Engine and drivetrain: Maintains the most expensive parts. (Max 3 people)

General maintenance: A group that does the little things to keep you going. (Max 4 people)

Co-Driver: Used only for Endurance events.

Race types: Career mode has 3 different race types.

Single race: Races with small purses on short circuits. The races are short in duration.

Series: A championship with 3 or more races in it. The points leader at the end of the series wins the series purse. Money earned here is higher then in single races.

Championships: Big money is earn here. Championship races are either single or multi race affairs.

Career Variables:

Length: How long is your career? 25 years is your career. Most race car drivers retire in their 40's so, starting at 21 and retiring at 46 makes sense but it can end early if you win all the big races listed above and it can end other ways...

Debt: You can't go into the negative money but you have a credit card that has no limit. This isn't a problem until the bill comes due. Now making the payments helps but do not miss payments. You only buy parts, vehicles and other items with the credit card, you can't pay your people with it. Debt gets too high, your operation shuts down.

Morale: Keeping your people happy is important. How keep them happy? (in no order) Pay them fair salaries, give them bonuses, improve their commendations when traveling, improve the shop when they ask, keeping them busy but also giving them rest when needed. Finishing well also helps keep morale up. When driving for a team or OEM if morale gets low enough, you will simply be fired.

Wear and Tear: Certain parts and pieces will wear out over time, fluids will need to changed over time as well. Too keep your machine at peak performance, take care of it. Parts can be fixed in the following ways:                Repair: Restores it too original condition                                                                                                        Overhaul: Increase performance of the part                                                                                                     Upgrade: Increase the level of the part

Well that is all for this game. It will never happen but this just an idea. Thanks for reading.

EFT/FC5 crossover fanfiction: Seperate Ways: Sleepless Massacre (Factory)

Plot: The girls take a risk and do 3 tasks on their own. Propor is the one who is giving out the tasks.

It has been a few days since Rachel, Claire and Grace have been out in Tarkov but Propor is about to keep the girls busy for a night.

Propor: Ah, glad to see you all here.

Rach: What is up?

Propor: What is down? Who knows with you kids now a days. Anyway, i have jobs that need tending too and i figured why not you three

Dep: Should we be honored?

Proper: Depends American. How good are you ladies at cleaning up scum?

Rach: Practiced.

Propor: Well 1 of you must go to Customs, 1 to Factory and 1 to Woods.

Grace: Why?

Propor: 2 will be done at night time. Does that make you fell better?

Grace: Hardly but whatever.

Propor: Who ever goes to Factory will have to kill a lot of people. Same for Woods and Customs.

Rach: PMCs?

Propor: No, local gangs and shit like that. Though if any get in your way... got ahead and add to the body count.

Dep: That is why you gave us those NVGs.

Propor: You will have to wear helmets to mount them.

Rach: How much?

Proper: Try Ragmen or your buddy Fence.

Rachel goes to Ragmen to find a helmet that can mount a GPNVG-18 NVG. Ragmen points to a couple of options but Rachel settles for the Diamond Age Bastion Helmet, mostly do the its black color and lets the girls use a headset. Rachel returns home with her purchases.

Dep: What ya got?

Rach: Here.

Grace: Not bad.

Dep: So... who is going where?

Rach: Factory is mine.

Grace: Woods.

Dep: I guess i'll go Customs then.

Rach: Want too become a 'demon' Dep?

Dep:Wha?

Rachel has been a busy girl since coming to Tarkov, other then killing and making money. She has surfed the web for face paint designs (when it works). So she has a few to use. Thanks to Ragmen she got some stuff too make face paint (He basically gave it too her). After a bit they look in a mirror.

Dep: *whistle*

Rach: Well?

Dep: Damn good Rachel.

Rach: Now let us finish up, we have too be where we are in a few hours. Grace?

Grace: I will leave at sunrise.

Rachel and Claire leaves at 2300 hours (11pm). Rachel takes along her Tactec plate carrier and not her Sagia. 1+5 30 round mags for her Archangel and 1+5 pistol mags. She also takes some VOG-25 grenades, and some that have a 2 second fuse, and some "help". The 3 areas the girls are going to aren't far from one another so they can regroup quickly. Propors people drop off Rachel at the entrance to the Factory area and she work her way inside.

Rach: Time to see how these NVGs work.

With a flip the NVGs fall over her eyes and light up. She can see a lot more then her old Arma sight ones and picture is much more clear, despite the picture being in a green hue. Rachel on a catwalk above one of the larger areas, below she can see Scavs sleeping.

Rach: Wakey, wakey you cunts.

She uses one of her VOGs, brutally killing the group of 3, starting her night of 'fun.' The explosion alerts the whole factory area. She continues by staying high up the rafters and catwalks, killing 5 more. Scavs hide in containers but Rachel kills them her grenades. The Scavs are freaking out, they have no idea who is killing them or from where. Rachel works her way into a hallway with holes in the wall, she shots out the lights with her pistol and listens.

She can hear the faintest sounds coming from the office. She uses her Archangel and fires through the door closest to her. The Scavs inside return fire through the door but Rachel has a good idea of where they are. Entering through the other door, she kills them then reloads. Rachel knows there are other hiding spots here, so she next checks the showers next. From the office area there 2 ways into the showers, she heads toward the sink side. The door opens outward, so with quietness she opens the door, her rifle ready to fire.

She enters, it is pitch black other then a glow stick in the corner of the room. Her Nods give her a big advantage, but she has no idea of how many Scavs are inside. She throws a piece of ruble from the floor over the row of sinks. When it hits the ground, gunfire erupts from the other side of the room. She uses the sounds to cover her own movements, since the Scavs are just unloading. When the shooting stops she makes her move, entering her old hiding spot, killing one, then quickly pushes the rest killing them.

Rach: Now for the tunnels.

The factory tunnels aren't a big area but are full of sharp corners. She clears the tunnels and finds no one. Now she must clear the rest of the factory and there are plenty of hiding spots. Rachel plays a slow and methodical game. She eventually finds a Scav hiding in a corner.

Rach: Skol'ko zdes' vas samikh? (How many more of your kind are in here?)

"Vy vsekh nas perebili!" (You slaughtered us all!)

Rach: "Ne to chtoby mir upustil vashu otsenku." (Not that the world will miss your assess)

"Ostal'nyye slyshali vystrely, oni idut za vami." (Other heard the gunshots, they are coming for you)

Rach: Khoroshiy. Pust' prikhodyat. (Good. Let them come.)

Rachel kills the Scav and heads back up to where she entered and waits. She doesn't have to wait long when she sees the beam of the flashlight pierce the darkness. A group have entered the factory, just like the other Scav said they would. Though through her NVGs, Rachel can tell these guys are different.

Rach: Raiders...

Rachel knows how to handle them, Better gear, weapons and tactics then normal Scavs, she plays the slow game. She waits on the upper levels near the office area. A group of 2 come up and Rachel deals with them quickly and quietly. However, the rest are in the underground. So Rachel uses her "help." She modified some old Soviet RDG-2B smoke grenades to emit gasous Bliss. She finds the ways down to the underground and throws down her grenades. It doesn't take long for the Raiders to start coughing and they begin to seeing and hearing things. Faith makes an appearence to the Raiders.

Faith: Vy yeshche pridete syuda? (Are there more of you coming here?)

"Kak minimum yeshche odna gruppa." (At least one more group.)

Faith: Khorosho. A teper' sdelay odolzheniye bednoy nevinnoy devushke ... i ubey sebya. (Good. Now do a poor innocent girl a favor... and kill yourselves.)

The Raider do just that, Rachel hears the aftermath. Faith reports back what she was told and she readies herself for one more group. She has to wait a few hours however and by that time the sun is just starting to poke itself above the horizon. Now Rachel has a choice, either kill the group or leave. She decides to stay and see how many show up. The group shows up, however it is only 2 Raiders. She deals with them as quickly as she can and them writes down how many she has killed.

Rach: Right around 13 or 16 of them. Better go and met up with Dep.

Rachel exits through a door outside and rushes over to Customs. She sees Claire running along the road.

Rach: How many?

Dep: More then I care to count... but the old man should be happy. You?

Rach: 13-16 of them.

Dep: Wow. We had better go and check on Grace.

The girls hear gunshots in the distance, so they rush toward them as the sun light makes the world brighter.
